CWC’s Rehabilitative and Community Support Services for children are one-on-one services provided to a child/adolescent in his/her home or community setting. The focus is primarily on behavior management, skill acquisition and physical development activities. The goal of these services is to achieve an increase in a child’s level of functioning, an increase in skills development and a decrease in maladaptive behaviors. CWC requires the active involvement of the consumer’s family, parent/ guardian and the family’s natural supports in this process.
These services are provided under the direction of a professional staff person with the skills, training, education and experience sufficient to meet the expectations of DHHS’ high standards. Support staff will meet the qualifications required for the Behavioral Health Professional position.
