Counseling services help to improve the quality of life and functional abilities of adults and children affected by chronic or acute challenges. Whenever possible, services will involve family members or significant others. Individuals participate in creating his/her treatment plan. The program networks with other providers in the surrounding community. Most clients are referred by a family doctor or therapist but may also be self-referred.
In 2009, Charlotte White Center and Mayo Regional Hospital partnered to provide counseling services, mental health evaluation and assessment, outpatient individual, family and group mental health counseling, substance abuse evaluation and assessment, outpatient individual, family and group substance abuse counseling, and DEEP.
